Sometimes
I make some stuff for Linux. In this page you will find some of it. My
tutorials and tips are good if you're a non expert user. So
don't expect a good coverage of your problems, but just some
attempts to solve mine. All icons you'll find in this page come from
the beautiful Nuvola iconset, made by David Vignoni (find it
here). Everything else you'll find
here is under a
CC licence, and you can do
whatever you want with anything in these pages, except doing it for
business. If you want to make business, go
here.
These pages look better with Firefox. If you use the
evil
browser, it's your fault. Please forgive me for my poor
english.
Some
linux wallpapers
I prefer to call them Desktop Backgrounds, but i know that you googled
for "wallpapers" (which is a quite a "Windows style term"). Here you
get them in 1600x1200 size. If you want other sizes, just GIMP them up!
OK?
more linux wallpapers
After
a long delay, here we go with more desktop backgrounds. I have a new
super-screen laptop, so you get huge backgrounds at 1920x1200
resolution. Which is quite a lot of pixels, right?
Some
kde splashscreens
So you want a splashscreen in the same family of your desktop
background? Here they go. These splashscreens are for KDE, and go
hand-in-hand with my desktop background.
Some
splashscreens for The GIMP
Before switching to Linux, I wanted to make sure that I could use some
'Photoshop-like' software. Then I saw some screenshots and images made
with The GIMP, and I decided to take the leap. Here are my
SplashScreens.
meet a linux-friendly player!
Meizu MiniPlayer is not a Linux based player, but it decodes some of
your preferred media formats, such as OGG, FLAC, XVID (and obviously
MP3). Read this page to know how to convert video in linux and enjoy
them in the MiniPlayer.
CUSTOMIZE THE DESKTOP ICON FOR YOUR PLAYER!
Meizu MiniPlayer is such a stylish DAP! Why don't we have a proper icon when it's mounted and and its icon
appear on our desktop? Download icons for Miniplayer and learn hot to use them. This is easy! (works on Gnome)
How to
make the Wacom ArtPad work in Fedora Core
Linux (er, X Server... er, LinuxWacom Driver) has full support for all
the recent Wacom tablets. But what happens when you're dealing with a
more than 10 years old Wacom ArtPad? Check
this page,
it may help you.
flashback
to the old page
Feeling nostalgic? This is a link to the old Gnu/Linux page. It
features some old stuff (like splashscreens for KDE or Desktop
Backgrounds) and some stuff which is still worth having a look at.
